It's a hard sport. Extreamly demanding. His paycheck depends on him being the biggest and freakiest...
He does what he has to do to make a living. Too bad it's hurting his life."If you're good you'll get a Schrute buck, after 1000 Schrute books you'll get an extra 5 minutes on your lunch break." - Dwight Schrute

I see how people can say he looks unhealthy... but that doesn't mean that he is, maybe he is, maybe he's not. I think it's just the fact that he's very vascular and gets in extremely good condition and has that dry grainy look that only Dorian Yates has sported before... and sometimes Dave Henry does as well... however neither of them has the same vascularity so it doesn't look as unhealthy.

I know this is going way off topic, but they say you age faster if you do not sleep that much. I read all of his articles in MD and he always says that he only sleeps 5 hours or so a night where as a lot of other pros try to get in upwords of 9 hours of sleep. It gets even worse when he diets down. He then says he only sleeps 3 hours a night. I don't think it is a juice thing. I personally think he is burning the candle at both ends. He has mapped out his day and it is packed to say the least. He spends a lot of time running his gym and training business.

Agreed - everyone looks older when they are that dry. Compare women, especially, off season and on - and you can see that their faces look ten years older when they lean out to extremes.
I know someone who's worked with Branch (prepped him at the Olympia) and says Branch is doing fine.
As for balding, well - you can tell in the earlier pics his hair was thinning, so that's no big deal.

Doesn't he own his own gym in SouthLake Texas??? So he runs a business, trains clients and also finds time to drive to MetroFlex in Arlington to work out where Ronnie does? Sounds like a hell of a load to take on... stress will make you look old in a hurry.
