I got assigned to this group project in which we pick a leadership trait, research it, interview someone with it, make a power point, etc.
Anyway we are supposed to decide which trait to go with this week. This one girl in my group swears that flexibility is the greatest leadership trait (I think she just plagarized it off a website though b/c she keeps using quotes that I doubt she herself went out to find, like Henry Ford said this, Bill Gates said that).
I think that judgment is a stronger trait than flexibility. I mean a flexible leader is easily manipulated. A leader needs to lead people, not be lead by people. They've got to make the tough decisions, even if it's not the most popular choice.
What do you think is the strongest leadership trait (it can be different than judgment or flexibility)?

Perseverance, you can be mediocre, but if you are mediocre with perseverance, you can do anything. A leader than can outlast anyone else is something special. You can be the most talented and gifted, but when that leader calls it quits then it is just a waste of talent. I hope that made sense, because I'm out of it today!
Truth is so obscure in these times, and falsehood so established, that, unless we love truth, we cannot know it.

Says on this site ^ that the one main leadership trait is:-
"The first, and most important characteristic, of a leader is the decision to become a leader."
