The Marine was originally written to star Stone Cold, however due to schedule conflicts Cena became the 2nd option.
His workout program is high volume, high intensity. HE sticks to medium-higher reps to avoid a possible gym injury, and largely goes by how he feels. He sticks to 5 sets for larger groups, 3-4 for smaller. He works out on average 5-6x per week.
Talks about being a humble man, and how he got into lifting. Talks about his football and baseball careers, getting into natural bodybuilding shows, and eventually a wrestling ring. Talks about his BB'ing heroes(Mike Francois, Jim Quinn, Lee Priest, Dorian Yates) Lists some shows he competed in and his placings. Has an entire page of pictures in various poses(some wresting, some BB'ing...all wearing a marine hat and camo shorts). Also has pics showing him doing shrugs, ~225lb bent over rows, 75lb 1-arm rows, and seated cable rows.

I see he changed his workout from his M & F article a few years back. (( Nov. 2004)) He stated for his arms, he just did 2 excercizes for both Bi's & Tri's. That's good.
Thanks for the write up, proppy. I know I sure do appreciate it after writing many magazine articles and workouts to these very forums. I appreciate and I'll probably pick up the article instead of just "using you" -- never believed in that. lol

Don't want to hijack the thread but this is a good place to put this...
Cena was on Howard Stern this morning. Was an entertaining interview. Said he banged a 280 lb woman a week or two ago. She also gave him a BJ. Said he did it mainly because some of the locker room were encouraging him at the time, but he said she was pretty good in bed and has no regrets.
He said he started lifting at age 12 and of course as we all know said he never did steroids.
Rest of the interview they were just bull****ting around but Cena seemed very cool in the interview. He talked well and with thought. He was funny and both informative at the same time.
