Hey ppl
So i've tried searching for steel cut oats but with no luck at all, all i can find is Quaker Oats & Porridge Oats, The other type are those non cut ones, farmed directly, Not yet Cut in any way
My Question is, Can i somehow get the Non-Cut Oats & get them steelcut locally, is it much of a big deal?
Besides, Can anyone plz describe the exact Nutrition value variation between Steel cut & other type's of oats available, Calories & carb's description would do alright
Since Oats would be one of the main sources to put as much as weight possible on me
Thank's

gi due to the way they are cut, nutritional diff only to density due to shape (granular vs. flaked vs. powdery) and mislabeling brand to brand. different texture when cooked.
what your probably wondering is this
its not like difference between brown and white rice, or whole wheat and white bread. its just the way they are milled.Last edited by grapemaster; 10-09-2006 at 12:19 AM.
