Critique my workout & meal plans
I'm 18 years old and I've worked out in the past, saw some gains but I have never really been serious about my workout plan and most importantly my diet. I have done some research and came up with a plan that I think would benefit me, please add/remove anything you think would help me out, greatly appriciated.
Supplements
Whey Protein Powder
Multivitamin
Meal Plan
7am - 1/2cup oatmeal, 5 egg whites and 1 yolk
10am - protein powder drink and peice of fruit
1pm - lean chicken breast with source of carbs (most likely rice or bread)
4pm - protein powder drink
7pm - lean chicken breast with vegetables
10pm - low fat cottage cheese/low fat yogurt
Also throughout the day, lots of water....also I am planning to workout first thing in the morning so should i workout before or after my first meal?
Workout Plan
Monday - Back
Tuesday - Chest w/20 min light jog
Wednesday - Legs
Thursday - Arms w/20 min light jog
Friday - Shoulders
Saturday - 20 min light jog
Sunday - Rest
All my exercises will be 2 sets 6-8 reps and 3rd set will be to fail, 3 exercises per muscle group.
