Hi all!
I was wondering how do you get a V-shape and abs like Usher? (here's a picture http://funweb.epfl.ch/site0506/danza...s/usher-04.jpg)
I guess you need to have some mass and be at a certain BF% or it's all genetic?

I think my parents bought a BlowFlex not so long ago haha
I actually want to be a little bigger but I really want a v-shape and abs like that lol.

He has good abs. I seen some thing on TV where he hires an expensive personal trainer and all they work is abs.

To get a v-shaped body, you need to work your back (lats mainly)...to get defined abs, you need to keep a low bodyfat %, less than 10%. It will all come with time, but if you want your body to look a certain way, you need to know the different muscles and which ones you wanna focus onOriginally Posted by lOver[bOy]

that's wonderful but i wasn't asking.
I said that because this guy put up a picture of usher and wanted to look like him, and more than 2 people said usher's body sucks. If he wants to look like him let him be, saying that ushers body sucks won't help him at all. Say you want to be a big time body builder and he said you should try to look more like usher, you wouldn't appreciate it.

...however this is a bodybuilding website so u have to expect ppl to want to look like bodybuilders and expect ushers body to be below their goals

please dont say MASS and Usher in the same sentence.
But the guy does a lot of reps and short rest. Basically circuit training type stuff. I mean the guy benches 135 so that tells you everything right there.

It's not just for body building, go to the main page of the forum and look at all the sections, To some people 'body building' might just be a goal they have in mind to tone their body, lose weight, or even like you say it to become a proffesional body builder. However you have to respect what everyone else who is at least trying to be fit and is into the exersizing scene. Sure he may have posted his topic in the wrong section but that's not my job to watch over that I'm just trying to help. Just don't reply to what I said, if you have a complaint about it then PM it to me, No one else needs to be distracted by it.

The "v-shape" around Usher's abs is probably genetic. But you can probably get them by having a low body fat % and working your abs. That's about it, it isn't really rocket science. A good diet and a good ab routine can get you those abs.Originally Posted by lOver[bOy]
