would a can of tuna be good before bed?

i'm getting sick of cottage cheese + PB before bed, so would a can of tuna and 1 tbsp PB (not mixed together, of course ) be an ok choice? i still want something slow digesting

    nice choice

I always have a can of tuna before bed, i find it does'nt make to much difference adding a bit of mayo, it's easier to swallow than eating it dry, or maybe even mustard, i've tried both, better than swallowing it dry.

Yeah, you're all good with that choice. It's my last meal of the day. I mix it with cottage cheese, hot sauce, broccoli and jalapenos (no, it's good, really!! haha) Ditch the PB, you ought not to need it; however, if you DO need extra carbs before bed, a small amt of oats would be a much better alternative to the peanut butter (or peanuts, for that matter).

Cottage cheese (by itself) is my 5 mins before bed food though.

Tuna digests pretty fast compared to other meats because it is fish and has so little fat. A casein protein powder would be good, but I doubt that a female would need it. You still need at least a small amount of carbs overnight, preferably complex.

Try mixing it together.. tastes alright. Ofcourse, it depends hugely on the kind of tuna you eat. I like starkist chunk light.

canned tuna + 1tblspoon flaxseed oil

Try tuna and flaxseed oil. The tuna by itself is dry and hard to swallow. The oil by itself is not really tasty. When I mix tuna and the oil, I think the combo taste much better than by itself.

Scrambled eggs, you control how much fat you get and no carbs - quick to make, easy to eat.

Put some low fat cottage cheese in there too and it makes them taste really creamy.

No it won't raise your cholesterol. It's fine to eat as many eggs as you wish.

I read posts in this thread and was raging at broscience, but I looked at the date now so It's ok, we know it's broscience.
