i'm getting sick of cottage cheese + PB before bed, so would a can of tuna and 1 tbsp PB (not mixed together, of course ) be an ok choice? i still want something slow digesting

Yeah, you're all good with that choice. It's my last meal of the day. I mix it with cottage cheese, hot sauce, broccoli and jalapenos (no, it's good, really!! haha) Ditch the PB, you ought not to need it; however, if you DO need extra carbs before bed, a small amt of oats would be a much better alternative to the peanut butter (or peanuts, for that matter).
Cottage cheese (by itself) is my 5 mins before bed food though.

Scrambled eggs, you control how much fat you get and no carbs - quick to make, easy to eat.
Put some low fat cottage cheese in there too and it makes them taste really creamy.7ft Tall Bodybuilding Actor
