    Question Measuring fat

I normally get my bf measured at the gym. This will not happen again. As our guy at the gym who normally does this has really lost control of his ego. He taped me the other day after I have not been taped since about 3 months ago. I have just been going by my clothes and the feel of the muscle tone comming through. Somehow he measured the same as he did 3 months ago. And on top of that gave me a serious attitude of how I was "half stepp'n. I know this is bull because I train hard M-S every week.
At any rate, I want to measure my own bf with a tape measure but I am unclear of how to do this. Can someone give me some info on the best way to get my bf done?

But I do agree this guy has become a jerk. Personally, I do better by noticing how my jeans are becoming smaller in the waistline, seeing fat disappearing and muscle definition starting to show. Although the scales do not show a drastic drop to explain this but enough to show I am getting somewhere.

I do not need a egotistical instructor to tell me different. I can SEE and Feel the differences. That is what is important.

I don't think you can measure actual body fat with a tape measure. That will just measure size....which is always good when it goes down. But still will not show you what your BF is.

The only ways I know to measure BF are with calipers, BF scales, water immersion, and now there are some kind of lasers too.
