I have a pair 15's and a pair of 20's which doesn't offer me much variety in weight. What should I do. Aim for getting a lot of reps until failure? Or should I still do just a certain amount of reps but in a few sets?

You'd be best doing any and all lifts that can get you anywhere from 3 to 15 reps at most. After 15 reps, you're pretty much training endurance and will quickly plateau.
Ultimately, you will want to get heavier sets of db's"When my opponent contracts, I expand. And when he expands, I contract.

yes. you can only reach a certain extent with a certain weight of dbs. if you want to build you, you'd have to be constantly ensuring you are increasing your weights, otherwise reps. sooner or later your body will get accustomed to the weight.
if you feel that lifting 15s or 20s seems too light, and maybe say either you can't afford heavier weights or to hit a gym, well, use whatever you can find mate. everything weighs something if you get what i mean,----- -- -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
