2x a week I've got 90 minutes wrestling, 1 hour break then 90 minutes MMA. I've got pre and post workout drinks that I already take, but I'm not sure what I should do for in between since it's both pre and post workout.
My pre workout drink is 1tsp L-Glutamine in 500mL Orange Juice. My post workout drink is 1tsp L-Glutamine, 1/2tsp Absorbic Acid, 2tbsp Spirulina in 500mL Orange Juice.
Make sure your eating a very high carb meal before that to provide you with fuel.
I would just use the 1 hour break and eat a smaller meal to help refuel and repair. During W/O shake, you could mix together some Whey Protein, Dextrose/Maltodextrin, and Glutamine.
You really need some carbs in there to support all that activity. Try a simple carb drink with some fast-acting protein (like whey). Your OJ has some carbs which is good but something like dextrose would be more efficient. With that much activity I would be trying to consume almost as much carbs/protein as I could without causing digestive problems. Don't worry, workout drinks aren't going to be stored as fat because you need to put that energy to use right away.
