You aren't that big if you are 6'5" and 260 dude. If you were below six foot I'd say you were massive.

Awesome, you guys are better strength wise than me, i currently have 2 rotator cuff problems and cant bench, do shoulders, skull crushers. it even hurts to put my arms on the bar during squat. My goal is to get through football season, take time to rehab myself then get back into it. injuries suck. I tore my MCL last year too. 6'5" 260lb isnt big? What is then? So if i was under 6' that makes me bigger? Explain. I dont have alot of body fat for a guys that weighs 260lb

I also come from a family of no athletic background, terrible metabolism, and pin pointed body fat areas, so training to get a good phsique has been really tough. I cant wait to play college football and get up to 280+.

When I say "big" I mean pound for pound muscle. In a natural sense you are huge, but compared to someone like Lee Priest who is 5' 4" 220 pounds, 260 at 6' 5" isn't that "big". Im just talking in terms of sheer muscularity.

I'm 5'8, 180....I don't know if you would consider that "big", but I am almost completly muscle.
I can compete with anyone bigger than me in terms of strength....And I am only getting stronger. Take it as you will.5'8

"As you know bb'ing takes time, so even though you thought your 60 lbs would be as big as you'd get, now that your there, you realise you can do more. Its a good thing. It keeps you progressing and getting better. Be proud of how far you've come, and from that, be motivated about how much further you can go."

Well I'm actually still trying to decide between powerlifting and bodybuilding...I've been switching my workouts back and forth for the last year or so. Currently I'm on a powerlifting routine.
Don't get me wrong on what I said. I'm not 1% bodyfat or anything, but I ain't nowhere near unhealthy. If I had to guess I would be around 15% BF....I could lose about 10 pounds of fat and all.
My main point was that you don't have to be big to be strong. I have had alot of friends over the years that have been big by the topic creators standards, and I have beat the **** out of them in the gym.
I got one friend that I'm training right now....He's about 6'1 and 20 pounds heavier than me, and he doesn't even come close to the weight I'm doing.5'8

This thread sucks.
Why does it seem that more and more people on this forum feel the need to feed their egos?Workout journal

If you were referring to me, I wasn't trying to feed anybodies ego.
Like I said earlier, big doesn't always necessarily mean strength.5'8

That's what I'm considering doing now....I look back at Ronnie Coleman and Johnnie Jackson, and they both come from powerlifting backgrounds...That gives me more confidence because most of my strength gains have been from powerlifting workouts, and I guess you could say I come from the same past as they do. I have about 3 competitions under my belt...
Those stats are about 5 months old. I'm repping 450 now pretty easy. I haven't maxed out in a while, but if I'd have to guess I'd say 500+5'8

Strong squatting. I'd definitely go the powerbuilder route. Those guys (Jonnie Jackson, Ronnie, etc) are always thicker, more dense onstage.

I pride myself in my strength...And my arms...
Most of my arm mass is in my triceps, which was a bi product of ignorance. Ever since I started lifting I had used more of an inside grip on benchpress than most normal people do...I didn't realize it until about 2 years ago when I got started lifting major.
I love my triceps!!! lol but overall I'm pretty stout. Not trying to brag, but that's one of the things I'm most proud of.5'8
