    carb counting and fibre.

    i was just wondering if youre counting the carbs in cottage cheese/cheese/or milk when on this diet. I was also wondering how youre supposed to get enoguh fibre to help digest so much fat/protein..

    carbs in high fat meals don't seem too important in my case.

    The past couple of days I've had 500 calories of cottage cheese at night for my final meal (4g carb per serving) and it hasn't knocked me out of keto. The same can't be said about cerain non-sugar products I've taken in though. As for fiber, I take a 0 carb fiber suppliment every day 3 time a day. You need to experiment on your own about what knocks you out of keto. I've found I can take 30g dextrose PWO, eat things like 4g cottage cheese etc and be fine, but if I chew 1g of xylitol gum or take simple pure vitamin c crystals they will knock me out of keto.

    Yes, you count the carbs in cottage cheese. Adding some oil or nuts or seeds can balance the macros if necessary.

    Eat lots of green veg and you won't have a problem with fibre. Most of us eat more green high-fibre on keto than on carb-up.
    65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs = keto.
