I can admire his strength but nobody needs to look like a huge tub of lard to be strong, he could do the same with a reasonable 15-20 % bf !

That first video is awesome--no knee wraps and REALLY deep. Hadn't seen it--how about the 825? Any vids of that? Whenever I watch that 1000 bottom squat I can't stop laughing. The audio is hilarious towards the end.

I don't like monolifts because it just makes powerlifting so far removed from anything I can relate to. With monolifts the equipment just gets tighter and tighter. I just can't really relate to a monolift squat where the guy can barely get 1200 lbs to paralell. I'm not saying it's not extremely strong, but when I see someone squatting raw it's just way cooler to me.
I'm not saying equipment is evil or anything, I just enjoy watching and competing in raw powerlifting.
