Shitin' and Miscin'
go to the nutrition section to find out about nutrition....
machine workouts are good and kinda bad. one of the biggest things about machines is a lot of people find them to be quite unnatural when it comes to movement, and some even promote bad form (like a smith machine). i think the main thing people dont like about them is that they make it easier to do the weight. my point of view is yes, this is true, but you're just going to put more weight on it to give you the same workout. bottom line, you will see gains whether you use machines or free weights. i personally use both, but its really up to the person. again, its better than nothing.
p.s. remember though that when people refer to maxes, they mean in freeweights (bars and plates, not machines), not machines.

The main reason machines are bad is because they assume everyone has the same biomechanics, which obviously isn't true. Stick to mainly free weights, especially if you are 6'5", like the the thread starter

If I was in your shoes. I would be playing on the line. Im 6'4" 300. That dosent answer ur question though. Loose 50 lbs and get faster. Being an end has a lot to do with speed and quick feet. You could play D-3 with thoese stats no prob. Theyd stick u at DT i bet though. If you got a pic post it. Work on squat and bench the most. Dont forget free weights though. They work more specific muscles.
