is this good (what in general is good?) for sprinting and jumping-over-tall-things?
my current lower-body routine:
walking lundges: (barbell over shoulders, take step forward, lundge down all the way to the ground, repeat with opposite leg, moving forward...)
nature glute-ham raise: (hook feet behind bench and go down and up with back more-or-less straight, catching myself down and pushing up if i can't make it all the way... becuase natureal, not other, version, only incorporates hams, not glutes)
and then standing machine calve raises
also i do back extentions for lower-back, and i do chest, back, shoulders, and abs excercises (no direct arm work)...
basically, if one of my goals is to be faster and be able to jump on and over tall things, how should i train for it, and is what i'm doing good for this?
my current (irrelivent-to-this-thread) feats in this are:
- run pretty fast, beat pretty much every friend in races
- i can jump onto a trash can that's at nipple-level
- i can jump onto a regular table with one foot from placeand land on the same foot
