Hey guys I just signed up, and though I'd share some pictures hoping you'd share some feedback. I'm 19, I play fullback for Kean University, large D3 school up in Northern Jersey. I've been lifting for about 5 years now since I started playing football back in high school. Back then as a high school freshman I benched about 135 and squatted 135 ha ha...now as a sophomore in college I have a one rep max in bench of 365 and squat of 505
oh yea and I'm around 5'11" 220lbs

Man don't bother with it, it is definately not worth it! Trust me man i know of guys in high school that was doing 500LBs squats. and 300lbs benches......i although had no chance at the 500lbs and 300lbs but i also don't train with an ego either....just keep up the good work and good luck with the football season.......Originally Posted by Foter

And yes you are correct my past coaches and my current coaches were great at strength training. My current college strength coach now head coach only 33 years old former college All-American linebacker, who I've been working with for over a year now has got me A LOT stronger and faster. He is religious about his squatting and having strong legs, my memories of spring ball are just of squatting ha. But I assure you I have a decent knowledge of football strength training even if I have a single digit post count, and that my "e-stats" are really the truth.Originally Posted by shamrock83179

dont pay any attention to the weener ***got. I was 183 when i benched 300 for my 1rm. 365 doesnt sound the least bit impossible for somebody thats 225 and your height. Theres a lot of haters on here that wish they could put that kind of weight up. I know an all natural football player from here in pa that is 6ft 235 and ive personally seen him bench over 400 atleast 3 different days, hes 18.

Our team bench average was 290 I think, so I was in the high percentile when we tested in bench.
