Gold standard whey protein and lactose intolerance?

Well im 21 been lifting since i was 16
Ive taken gold standard protein for about four years now and its been good but for some reason lately when i have my shakes ill get bloated have alot of gas have constipation diarrhea and sometimes pains around my abdominal
My mom is lactose intolerant and ive heard you can develope lactose intolerance as a teen or during your adulthood
Any ideas whats wrong with me? From what i see i match all the symptoms of LI.
(P.s its ALOT worse if i were to drink two glasses of milk or have alot of dairy products, tested my body to see how it responded to dairy*)
Would changing to protein isolates help?

If you have been using the same protein for four years chances are it's not the protein causing the issues. I would try switching from milk to water and see if that help. If you still have issues then you know its the protein.

Yeah it's possible to become lactose intolerant as an adult. Either switch to an isolate like Blue Star Iso-Smooth or Dymatize ISO-100, or go with a vegan protein like PEScience Select Vegan. All three of those review well for taste and are high quality.
