    How Long till my abs start to show (pics included)

    YES I KNOW IM THIN, DONT COMMENT ON IT
    k well i bike ride 4 days a week (the days i aint bulking) for 30mins - 1 hour, i do like over 4km (never measured it, but im sweating heapz after) - anyways, with the pics below, how much time you rekon before i start seeing some sexy abs... also, what should i do to minimise time before i start seeing abs, liek what excersices and when, also keep it mind im trying to bulk up

    k heres 3 pics, the middle is me unflexed... got a bit of flab going on there, (once again, i know im thin, im workign on that too)

    yeh my left nipple has gyno... any ways to make it less obvious? and my right one does slightly, its just noticable


    i only do cardio on my off days, and how often should i do crunches n situps, how many, and should i continue bike riding?

    when you eat like a cow, lift like a ox, sleep like a baby, and be as dedicated as all of us (well most ), and then after that you do a 12week cut and perfecto P.S train your abs once or twice a week

    The best thing for you to do is get your DIET sorted for bulking then start a workout routine like BILL STARR 5x5 *whilst still tarining your abs). Do this for about 6 months, cut down the cardio for now. After these six months you should cut and not only will you have good abs, but everything else will be stronger and bigger.

    yeh im starting billstars 5x5 tomorrow so excited, but surely theres a way to bulk, and get sexy abs at the same time?

    roger:
    coz my stomach needs to be toned so i can look good on the beach and im like 75kg, watever that is in pounds like 160 punds... coz im 6 foot

    you cant bulk and cut at the same time, just bulk first then cut, you need mass!!!when you cut dont lose more then 1lb a week or you lose muscle

    Some people can bulk without putting on too much bodyfat, this is called a 'clean bulk'. But as a new starter in the bodybuilding world you're probably better just thinking about eating - this is what will make or break you. Workout routine - Focus on the big lifts and getting them better, eg. On the Bill Starr workout it focuses on your 5RM and getting them stronger over time. So for example, if you done all this for 6 months and you get bigger THEN you cut you will feel great! Trust me, you will thank yourself later on if you do this now. Rome wasn't built in a day:P

    u need to be less concerned with "sexy on the beach", "sexy abs", look at you, you have no muscle, if youd try to cut youd like ill and malnutrionted, get some muscle, then you can think about "sexy abs" or wateva

    ah fck, so i gonna have to wait ages before i start getting my abs :@ - but surely if i bike ride 3 times a week, and do crunches and situps twice a week on my off days, wont that show my abs, whilst gaining ANY MASS

    id be happpy gaining little mass (aslong as im gaining some) if i am getting my abs to show, and then when i stop workign abs so hard, then ill gain more mass, ill be happy doing that?

    surely some situps/crunches and a bit of bike riding cant hurt that much?
    rugby players have to run heaps to stay fit, and there huge... how do they do it

    You say you want to get abs first, then bulk? As soon as you start your bulk your abs will most definatley 'disapear' under added bodyfat (unless you do the cleanest of clean bulks [which is VERY hard] they will not show). But look into the futre a year - do you not like what you see? Your still young, if you do this bulk now you will thank yourself for ever. Read around the forum abit, be inspired by other peoples stories, then you will be motivated to bulk.

    youre not gonna get your sexy abs if youre eating like 2 or 3meals a day.......get 160-200g of protein a day, 3500-4500calories a day, try fit 5 or 6meals in your day, plus lucksoht, what evil made you eat a cupcake!?!?!? i hate cupcakes anyway

    nearly, i dont really cut, its more of a bike riding for fun thing, but if its gonna effect me, should i stop, and will i lose any of that flab or effect my gains from a fun bike ride 3 days a week?

    you can do bike riding but check your weight every week, if your losing weight every week then take bike riding out and check if you still lose weight..

    ok so bike riding, and situps/crunches... ill still be bodybuilding, but my abs will slightly shape up... im not cutting on my off days, im just doing a little cardio

    also when should i do crunches? - on my off days? (2 of them)

    You can't bulk and cut at the same time. And when you bulk, you're gonna put on some fat regardless. As far as the bike riding is concerned, just take in more calories and you'll be fine. If you aren't gaining or are losing weight, add more calories.

    Bulk up first, the cut.

    Monday - Assistance: 2 sets of weighted hypers and 4 sets of weighted sit-ups

    Wednesday - Assistance: 3 sets of sit-ups

    just do reps that you are comfortable with.
