I have a big upper body, skinny legs. I want to get big legs but I can't because my joints get messed up when I do squats and legs presses. Is there any way to reduce tension on my joints. Or maybe other exercises that work well?

Check your form and go ATG or close to it.
A king may move a man, a father may claim a son. But remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.

Probably best to strech your leg muscles, strap and warm up thouroughly.
See if u strech it can release tension. I've had a client who had lower back pain. I did some great flexibility work with his hamstrings and his back pain had greatly inmproved. Im not sure if this works the same way with your ankles and calves but it's defenently worth a try mateA Warrior must reach deep down inside himself and find out what he's truly made of. A warrior does not say, "I will try." A warrior says, "I will do". No excuses. No regrets. No failures. If you live a life where you put limits upon yourself, you might as well be dead. Never accept mediocrity. To live, you must kill these self-imposed limits.
