so im new to the whole lifting thing here. i have lifted in the past but nothing major. im currently being deployed for the next 6 months and all i have to do here is workout. so i made it my goal to put on as much muscle weight as i can.

im currently taking blitzz pre workout and im not really feeling much. i took a sample pack of c4 and i kinda felt. is it a good pre or no?

for my post workout im taking gnc's rebuilt mass. so far ive been lifting for aobut a week and havnt noticed much but sore muscles.

i have a buddie here who has me on a workout plan that is
    legs
    tri's and shoulders
    run
    legs
    bi's and checst
    run.....

im not sure if its a good plan or not.

    some advice for the noob

    thanks in advance

To gain muscle you need to lift progressively heavier weights and eat tons of food (macros - protien, carbs and fats) to fuel the muscle growth.

Find a lifting routine and stick with it, as you are beginner might want to look at 5x5 to get some strength in you before looking at split routines.

There are 5x5 routines on this site or you can google it.

Starting Strength.com - (If you can not do Power Cleans swap them for Pendly ROW's) You will understand when you research.
