During Ramadan we are obligated to fast during sunrise and sunset. This means no eating, no drinking, no sex, no smoking etc. If need be you can be exempt from fasting during Ramadan should need be, for example if you're sick, travelling or menstruating, however you will need to make up for those days you took off by fasting after Ramadan. The pilgrimage to Mecca is usually taken during the last month of the Islamic year (I won't try to spell out its name though).

No. It's the month where muslims fast between sunrise and sunset. There is no month where muslims have to fast 24-7.

Thank you my freind. Ramadan last for 1 month, but you can also do 6 more after it is finished, but that is only optional, it would be good if everyone did it, the more, the more deeds and blessings.
Sikboy Thanks man!

The best part of Ramadan was Haleem. I'm not a Muslim so I never fasted but boy-o-boy, when the sun set, I was the first person to get some Haleem at the local store. Great stuff, high protein stuff and tastes great.

LOL no freind! Basically we wake up dawn, eat some good food, well I do lol. anyway so we eat some food, close our fast and go without food and drink for maybe IDK half a day, it normally opens around 4, but each year it gets longer, so this year is gonna be tough. Then when it is time to open we eat with the family, we also pray through out the day! Because the month of Ramadan is an amazing month for sins to be fogiven.

So are your sins forgiven because of the fasting, or the prayers? And how do you KNOW at the end of the month your sins are indeed forgiven?

Fasting is a great deed, each time you do a good deed, an evil deed is erased. If you don't pray, there is no point in even keeping a fast! So basically a person who pray's, fast's, gives in charity, especially in the month of Ramadan is blessed with good deed's and God in return forgives our sins, remember that once you get a good deed, that will never be erased that is the beauty of everything. Praying is what forgive's our sin, because that is the biggest obligatory of Islam! If a person still carry's on praying at the end of Ramadan that proves that your fast's and sins have been forgiven.
P.S - I would also like to say, I am trying my best to give the most out of my knowledge, so if any Muslim See's any wrong advice, please correct my answer for this man! but I'm sure I am right! but its always good to be sure and ask!

Have a great Ramadan everyone. The key is to be able to walk away with a significant religious improvement in your life. Keep in mind:
The Prophet (pbuh) said:
Whoever does not abandon falsehood in word and action, then God has no need that he should leave his food and drink
Many are the people who fast but who gain nothing from their fast except hunger and thirst; and many are those who stand praying all night but gain nothing except sleeplessness
Some goals:
Try to catch all five prayers in congregation AND at the Mosque.
Try to pay your zakat and alms in this month
Make as much remembrance of God and supplication as possible
Try to pray Tahajjud (night prayer in the last third of the night)
Read as much Qur'an as you can
Balance your religious and worldly life

I was wondering, are there any pro bodybuilders who fast through ramadan? Maybe, Mustafa, Haidar, Bannout... Though im not sure if they're even Muslims.
