None of those pics are really accurate.

The levrone was was after he had competed, and he wasn't eating like a bodybuilder anymore and not training as regularly/heavy.

The Jay Cutler one there was a huge age difference.

The Dorian one was the same situation as Levrone, he has stopped training like he used to and stopped eating like he used to.

Hey man are there any good gyms close to Edmonton or in Edmonton? I'm moving to Alberta in about 10 - 14 days to do siesmac work and i was wondering if there are good places to work out there. If you could name a few really good ones with a vast variety of feeweights that would be appreciated.

Some of the current WWE guys would be a good example of roids to no roids too. They certainly make a difference, but no IFBB pro is where he's at because of steroids.

Don't know about other people but when I lokk at the first pic of young Doring I see a long bicep, clearly visible tricep (short head, Dorian's "Side Tricep" is on of the best ever, IMO!) and lots of room for big traps to grow.

I've seen pics from the same series as the second pic, the Ab-one, where Dorian is hitting other poses. Looking at his biceps from the front they weren't that big, but looking at how big his lats already are and how clear-cut his pecs are I would think, judging from these pics, that he has awsome potential. (And he does/did!)

No but he had a great body at 15 already. He worked in construction with his dad, which being physically demanding as it is started to show his potential.

Even Dorian said it was and that he talked about how he had good genetics
- Naturally gifted calves
- Naturally low body fat
- Shape of his thighs
- Was his huge back just put down to hard work? I don't think so.

Don't think Arnold labelled Dorian's body type a mesomorph just for a laugh!!

That's because people don't realize the different kinds of "genetics"

some people are genetically gifted to the point where they have a decent physique before they even start working out

others are genetically gifted in the sense that their body responds tremendously to excercise...dorian fits this profile

but from that pic he doesnt look like he has potential...he looks soft like ricky hatton.i have friends who dont even lift weights and have better physiques then dorians pic with the beer.

but all and all its still amazing how huge he got...do they have to take more roids then say the novice bodybuilder? what is there cycles like ive always been curious.

I know alot of natural bodybuilders take roids but they take lower dosages so their body looks more natural and they have to cycle off a few months out before the show so they dont get detected for roids which makes them look smaller....im guessing yates, coleman and the current crop of olympias take extra high dosages.

You can't see a pic of Dorrian when he was kid (the one with the beer) and judge his genetics. You can only start to judge his genetics from the point when he STARTED training - from that point it was obvious that he had/has killer genetics. And the BIGGEST motivator of a man is WINNING....so as Dorrian started to WIN contests that pushed him to reach his GENETIC potential.

Every single one of us has a "gifted bodypart(s)"........it's matter of training hard enough to realize what that bodypart is. For me, it was my chest, when I was 17 years old I could bench 315 for sets of 8-10 reps, and use 50-60lbs db's for flyes with perfect form. As I got older my legs "genetics" turned on (thank God LOL) and the outter sweep was easy to get all of a sudden, and my calves can grow to 21 inches JUST from walking up the stairs in my house LOL. Dorrian had a KILLER back.....as well as much more. His arms were weird though IMO.

Find you "gifted bodypart" and capitalize on it.....but keep things in proportion!!!
