On the Towel:
just a thought of mine...
One of the most useful things to have lying around, whether you work out at home or in the gym is the towel.
it can be loosely wrapped around your shoulders as a cushion for the weight when doing squats.
it can be whip-snapped at someone whos bothering you
it can be folded and laid out on the ground underneath you when doing ab exercises
it is a good way to do your triceps/hamstring/neck/front delt stretches.
it can be used as a bag to wrap up your change of clothes.
it can be used as a GREAT forarms exercises: soak it in water and wring it out.
if you want to take a shower, there's your towel for you!
and finally, when things get hard, use your towel to wipe the sweat instead of your sleeves.
change your towel often so it doesnt build up any crap and odor.

Got kind of a funny/gross story about a towel...
So I am in my room with these two girls and one of them leaves my room to go to the bathroom. I then hear her leave my bathroom go outside, then go back in the bathroom, I thought she was just getting a tampon or something. Later on my sister asks "why did your friend bring in a towel from her car and then take it out with her". I didn't think anything of it. WHen she left there was a towel where her car had been parked, and you guessed it, there was SHYT in it! The toilet wasn't flushing and she was embaressed so she tried to take the poo out of the toilet and put it into the towel!!!!

Lol...thats kinda harsh though.
I wouldn't even have mentioned it to her. I wouldn't want to embarass her or make her mad.
But hey...the girl was smart, she had a towel in her car!
That story just demonstrates another great reason to keep a towel nearby lol.
Edit: BTW, why did you have two girls in your room?
