ok guys he does not look like the vince taylor of old but THIS GUY IS 50 YEARS OLD!! amazing to still be at olympia level at that age. he will have the best calves on stage

He looks great for his age
But is legs are terrible and he will lose a lot for that But overall great Package for the Legend

yeah! in some angles, his calves look bigger than his lower quads! still a great body, but his midsection isnt nearly as tight as it was during his prime.

I think 'terrible' is a bit of an overstatement don't you?

I am more worried about his conditioning, I see vascularity, but not a lot of detail. I really hope he does well because Isabel and I met Vince at Jr. Nats and he was extremely nice. Isabel is an amazing judge of character and right off the bat she liked him and struck up a convo with him. After Isabel left to go pick up some food, I asked vince to sign something for her and started to hand him some money & he told me to put it back in my pocket and that he would feel bad charging money to such good people.

Was refreshing to talk to someone so down to earth and very in touch with the fans. He was very patient with everyone who came up to talk to him and talked in depth about bodybuilding or anything with anyone who wanted to talk to him... not just quick conversation. You just don't see that much anymore at trade shows.

Yes I do think that he also need to bring his condition up but those legs would not fly in a national level contest. Minus the calves they are still amazing.

Hehe...a pair of "Aladdin pants" and he'll truly be a complete package....IMO I think he looks great...2 weeks out to dump some water...we'll see what happens!

I have always thought that Vince has the best biceps in the business.
And he is still pretty close to that at 50!
They're so full and go all the way from forearm to shoulder! (if you all know what I mean)

I don't think his legs are any worse than say Darrem charles. Sure they lag but it isn't like anyone would question him qualifying for the olympia? His calves and arms may both be in the top 3-5 in history of our sport. He has 2 weeks to get his conditioning, Vince is a machine and has never looked an ounce off, so lets hope he nails it again. His arms did look huge.

And Layne, I have the same exact story about meeting vince with my girlfriend. One really good guy and one of my personal favorites.

He looked incredible at 49 years old so, something else is up?

Vince isn't good anymore he should give up on the olympia and try some of the loser shows like darrem at least his record would look good at first glance. Only good things left on him are his arms and his calves are ok but there are much better ones than his. Why compete when you basically know the top 10 which mainly everyone agrees will consist of guys like ronnie, jay, markus, gunter, gustavo, dexter, branch, melvin, victor, dennis, lee, johnnie.

He has a great physique, but I don't think it is plausible to think he will crack the top 10 at the Olympia.

I guess he is working on making history. I believe it is Vince and Ronnie who are the top two pros with the most pro showes under their belts.

And even though he may not win the O, he'll probably beat some guys and that's gotta feel good, at any age!

And the other aspect.......we know he won't win but this'll probably grab him some great publicity for the time being...ie magazine articles, guest posings and such..an opportunity to make some decent coin.
