Who actually takes tupperware to work and eats their meals cold?
I'm going to have to start doing this...otherwise I would have to go at least 6 hours w/o a meal.
I just don't like eating cold food.

I've started taking it to work, we've got a microwave, so that makes things a lot easier, in the sense of eating a hot meal.
However, there's a load of fast food joints down the road - so I can get hot food whenever, I agree that eating cold food isn't too great (depending on the food).

Yeah, I take it to school. Rather have cold food than no food at all.

I tend to pick stuff that tastes good cold...like everything...I will also bring cans of tuna, roast beef, turkey, chicken, etc. and maybe wrap some mixed nuts in Saran Wrap and take everything along.

I absolutely do that. It's a choice between eating clean and eatng greasy-ass cafeteria food.
If you don't like cold food, then find a mircowave. There's gotta be one somewhere around where you work.
Edit: deserusan: Thanks for your help a couple of days ago.

Yea I prepare everything for the next couple days in tupperware. Cottage cheese, chicken, brown rice, tuna, ground beef, oats, broccoli/carrots, peanut butter.
Basically nothing that we eat can't be eaten cold out of tupperware. It's just a matter of having the motivation to prepare it.

Every single day for work! One tupperware with chicken and brown rice, one with eggs and one with cottage cheese. Its the only way to go!

I'm with you on baking sweet potato's and eating them cold. Throw in some chicken and mash the whole lot up. It's the one meal that I always look forward to eating. I never get bored of it.

I don't think I've had a heated meal in months. It got tiresome heating things up, so now it's right out of the fridge and into me. whatever it is.

hahaha i hate hot meals, i cant eat it quick, everyone thinks im mental. When a meal is hot i time it or just put it in the freezer to cool it down. I dont care about any taste i just barely chew and swallow.

thats pretty much what i eat everyday in tupperware, and cold, at work... heh, usually use the light soy though, sometimes pasta sauce, or some other sauce to mix it up, i prep it plain in advance so i can just put whatever sauce i want on it in the morning.
we also have several microwaves at work but I don't bother to use them, just pull it out and eat it real quick.
As for glass bowls, that would be a bit too heavy to lug around everyday (I live downtown so I just walk)

I most of the time stick chicken or tuna between brown bread, I have thought of bringing cold pasta to work, anybody any recipes that are nice cold, then once a month I get from the canteen to stop the boredom!, its not easy sometimes, but thats the sacrifice we make to look damn good!

pasta is fine cold man, same with rice. one thing i don't like cold is cooked vegetables, especially that are a few days in the fridge. so i save them for when i am home.

its usually a couple cups of spinach (im doing argula until the E Coli issue subsides) 6oz diced chicken breast and guacomole and thrown together in salad form. i do get weird looks from strangers but the people that know me, know my discipline/dedication.

That's what i do whenever i take food to school. Normally a chiken breast, brown rice and brocolli in one, salsa in the other. Nuke it and away we go. I really like those pop top tuna cans made by clover leaf, dill and lemon is sooo good. All you do is pop the top and eat it.
