I have 2 different dressing styles
when I'm wearing track pants/shorts/gym shorts - I'm wearing either heavy metal shirt, wifebeater, or a sports shirt
when I'm wearing jeans - I'm usually wearing polo/nautica/Calvin klein etc...

Do you actually pay that much for those things? I appreciate the expensive jeans, polos, etc., but I also love a bargain.
I typically get my Diesel and Versace jeans for < $100, and Ralph Lauren Polo polos (custom fit) for ~ $25. I like preppy dressing but I like to vary it up some with non-preppy footwear.

Preppy in my opinion is overrated. Just dress in whatever looks good on you, its pretty sad when I see people trying WAY too hard to look preppy. Like skinny foreign people with abercrombie+aeropostale. Looks pretty stupid, but then again maybe I am just an ass. I wear skate/biking brands. Very comfortable, guys who wear polos everyday just look stupid to me.

I have a few shirts from those places but def would never actually walk in one and shop.

Sure, during sale season you can get great deals from Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, etc. through their online stores. I don't like eBay and such for clothing because I don't trust private sellers. A couple of months ago I got a great pair of Kuratts for $80 with shipping.
