Controlled Labs Green MAGnitude review
All right, so it’s been just over a week since I’ve completed my log. I’ve worked out the same and tapered off of Glycergrow. Now I believe I should be able to make a fair review seeing as how two months on any supplement is a very long time. This was a sponsored log so all the skeptics can rev your engines now. Asides from a very humble “Thank you!” to Tank and the Controlled Labs boys, I do NOT believe I’m obligated to leave them a positive review. These are my own words. I only speak the truth and everyone should know that I never bull**** about things like this. LOL
Quick Intro
The supplements I took during this course were Controlled Labs Green MAGnitude, Glycergrow, White Blood (at night for the first few weeks), Purple Wraath, and some generic ZMA. The ZMA didn’t go over well because I was taking in far too much magnesium than my body needed, so I would vomit an hour after taking it. I quickly stopped taking this as it wasn’t necessary. And my sleep was all right for the duration of the log. As I had stated, I didn’t have anymore White Blood to carry on. I had ordered two a few months ago and only received one. The King went on to send another but it still hasn’t arrived after months. Another was sent apparently, but I’ve yet to receive any… oh well. I would have loved substituting White Blood at night for the ZMA I had to drop, but too bad. I still loved Green MAGnitude! Afterthoughts
My initial thoughts the day after my last dosage were “WOAH!!!..... strength, DOWN… endurance, DOWN”. I was amazed as how fatigued I got so quickly. Perhaps it was just a fluke for the first two days because things really leveled out. But after a week, I can definitely say that my strength and endurance were noticeably lower. Thankfully I’ve been able to compensate with things and I don’t think that my maxes will really be affected too negatively. TASTE: 10/10 All right folks, there’s no beating around the bush with this one. Tank worked hard to get the flavors right and when he tasted the production batch, he assured us that taste was not compromised. Whew! Damn skippy. This stuff is GOOD. People have been known to eat this stuff raw or make popsicles out of it. I think that it’s best with 500ml of cold water. But if you take a scoop of Purple Wraath, a scoop of Green MAG and mix them in a liter of water is tastes amazing. I was loving this concoction. ECONOMY: 10/10 Green MAGnitude is incredibly economical. There’s a suggested 80 straight, one-scoop servings but it definitely goes a lot longer than that. It took me about two and a half months to exhaust this, and I was using a full scoop which we now know is a little overdosed. I took half scoops on off-days usually during- or post- cardio too. Not to mention, I’m sure my little brothers and maybe a couple of friends “helped themselves” to some because we’re just like that. Green MAGnitude costs about $35 USD, so this is not bad at all. I’m going to be using it in my post-cycle therapy in a few months. I’m VERY confident in this product. MIXABILITY: 9/10 (boyscouT kept debating about this one ) I never had a problem with this. boyscouT kept saying that he would end up with granules that just wouldn’t disappear, and it was assumed that it’s probably some tyrosine that didn’t dissolve. Well, I encountered this but simply adding a bit more water helped to get rid of it all. Lukewarm water also makes this mix instantly, so there’s really no problem. You don’t have to rinse out your bottle or glass after to make sure you’ve consumed a full serving. I just put it in a bottle, shook it for about 5 seconds and I was out the door. EFFECTIVENESS: 10/10!!!!! People are going to start assuming that I’m a shill or a kiss-ass. Well, sorry brothers but I love this ****! Most notably I managed to Incline DB Press the 90lb dbs 6 times, Squat 315lbs for 5 reps, Deadlift 335lbs for 3 reps (while attempting a 1 rep max), and got my Flat Bench back to 225lbs. I’m not the most impressive person in the gym, but I was incredibly happy to be running into new personal records every time I stepped in the gym. I really cannot complain. My endurance was just crazy, and my strength would not stop surpassing my expectations. I consistently lifted more each time I stepped in the gym. I couldn’t ask for more. OVERALL: 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!The only thing I wish I had done during my experience was upped the caloric intake. I got extremely sick before starting the log and was just less than 150lbs. At the time I started this log, I struggled to get up to 156lbs when I received my Green MAG, and I ended up being a 162lbs fairly dry. I still have a ton of strength, I feel great and I’m very confident in this product.
BIGGGGG Props to all the boys at Controlled Labs. Green MAGnitude is a very solid pre-workout product. It helped to get my strength up and endurance up, not to mention my confidence. I have a complete log at www.controlledlabsforum.com and you can see for yourself that this made a huge impact in my training. Two months is a long time, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I trained the way I would have if I didn’t have Green MAG, took variables and life changes with stride and kept on doin’ how I do. I forgot to mention, I broke up with my GF during this log, a few real-life friends died and my great-grandfather (nearly 100!!) passed away too. Crikey. What a loopy, action packed couple of months! You will not be disappointed. I am willing to bet money on that.
My little brother’s tried every creatine… monohydrate, kre-alkalyn, cee, and lots of other stuff and they never gave him any results. He tried Green MAG and came back from the gym with a huge smile on his face (probably because he demolished some of my PRs!!). It was pretty funny. I guessed that it might be a fluke but I bought some off the net for him and he’s still having some freaky gains. I’ve gotta see what sort of program he’s been lookin great lately.
I really want to take some Green MAG right now but I like to cycle off of products and not get too dependant. When I take Green MAG again I know I’m going to have to some crazy gains.

Same here. I pretty much forgot to take the plain magnesium in GM into account, and basically threw up each night for nearly a week before I cut the ZMA. My GF at the time was pretty pissed at my and thought I was taking really harmful supplements. I guess I looked like an ass. lol

Thanks, brother!
Yeah, those were a couple of really crazy months. At the beginning of my log I felt really guilty and let the guys know that I could pull out and just pay them out-right for the Green MAGnitude, send the unused stuff back and pay the difference or whatever. Really rocky start and I was feeling pretty horrible for receiving such a great opportunity. But I stuck with things and got some great strength gains. My bench went up a modest 20lbs, my squat went up 100lbs and my deadlift went up over 110lbs

Oh hey, boyscouT!!! How goes it. CONGGRAAATS on becoming an SNS rep you lucky dawg!
Yeah, holy ****… log started out great, PR’s each day and boom, people start dying left and right, my GF basically starts acting like a crazed wife (sad too, she was great for two years and turned psycho) and yeah… lol. I had one of the biggest anxiety attacks I’ve had in a couple of years but managed to ground myself again. But that’s life. Take things with stride, learn from mistakes and less than fortunate situations and keep on truckin. I’m stronger than every physically and mentally.
All this talk about Green MAG’s making me antsy though… I think when I get home I might have some Purple Wraath and a half scoop of GM, compliments of my younger brother!

I bet my younger brother doesn't know about it!!! LOL
Uhh... but he does lurk around on the forums and reads logs and whatnot.... hmm... oh well! He stole some of mine. We all just help ourselves because what goes around, comes around. Gotta hook a brown brother up!
Tim, I've got another tub of GM in the mail but I can't get my hands on it for a while. I want to abstain, finish my Jungle Warfare and then go at it again. Bahhhhhh it'll be so hard. I'll have to hide it somewhere and hope that I forget, otherwise I might be doomed.

Too early for my input (5 days on Green Mag) but was thinking about posting after day 2. Had been stuck on 2 reps of 275 on bench for about a month. Two reps were on a good day. Was about 5 weeks removed from prolabs creapure so was just trying to maintain.
Day one of Green Mag was on an off day. On Day 2, got 3 reps at 275. This is after being stuck on 2 reps for a month. Laughed to myself thinking this had to be a placebo effect. Will see tomorrow when I bench again. My reps are important because I work out alone (without a lift off) and do not call a partial rep a rep so it is do or die. Will post back here tomorrow. Hopefully, 3 reps again at the very least. With mono, never really had down days just the same as the last workout if no gain. Hopefully, Green Mag is similar.

How much of a decline in performance does one normally see when stopping the use of Green MAGnitude?

Aw man, I'd say little to no strength decrease? Honestly I went to the gym, not sure what to expect but with an optimistic attitude and a thirst so I can't really say.
I got a little more fatigued near the end of some sets, and I don't really think I dropped any weight down. I was lifting in a pretty low rep range because I kept gaining soooo much strength. Seriously I was reporting back on my log with PR's nearly every session. Talk about spoiled.
A few weeks later I started lifting more for hypertrophy than strength, and I love it. I'm thankful to have gained so much strength from the GM. It's really helping me now that I've varied my work outs a bit. I could have eaten a lot more calories and probably put on a ton of muscle, but I think I just added to my base and built some tough muscle fibers. Any gain is appreciated though.
I'm absolutely STOKED to take GM in my PCT. Hoping to keep my strength from methyl drol xt and if all goes well, gain even more strength throughout PCT. I've got a shiney green tub of GM sitting in my room and you don't know how hard it is to not rip off the plastic and dig in!!! It's torture!!!

Reading your experience got me pretty pumped up to try it too. We'll see how it goes in a few weeks!

I should have GM and WB in the mail tomorrow...I've never gone beyond protein powder and never felt comfortable with the thought about trying creatine etc. Either way I've been looking through many threads...so the 1 scoop is overdosed? Should i just be taking a half-scoop of GM with the WB pre-workout everyday and off days? I was not planning on anything else but many seem to take multi's along with it...is this necessary?
Forgive my noob question :-/

2/3 scoop = 1 serving, unless you get the one with the blue scoop then 1 scoop = 1 serving

I've hearing a lil too much about GM for me not to get it. There has never been a bad thing said AT ALL. I currently got back on GB after 3 weeks off it. I just slipped and ran out. As soon as I started again, it was incredible. And users of both recommended GM over GB, or even both. My current stack is: MHP Trac Extreme NO, GB, RA2, GG, glutamine, arginine EE, multi, whey, and occasionally creatine mono ( 2x's a week).........I cant lose adding GM to this stack. Or is it a waste if I already use GB?
