Everyone says higher reps build "endurance". Well what exactly is endurance, and why do some people tend to build for it?

endurance (as far as I know) is when the muscle can do many reps many time.
For example: the heart has an awesome endurance, it needs almost no rest, but, it has no strength.
your bicep, has a lot of strength but little endurance. (compared to the heart)
Athletes need edurance when they run and stuff like that.♂Nice Ass Crew♀
