Why did they illegalize ephedra in the USA?
And is it also illegal in Canada?

because people used it irresponsibly and the goverment caved in due to the outcry.

I guess they also did it to prevent large ammounts of good quality speed hitting the streets. The problem now is, we now have a stronger more dangerous drug on the street called ICE.
Atleast the good old speed was more reliable

yeah i forgot about that one. remember kory springer (rip) of the minnesota vikings? dude was a 300lb lineman, he went out and practiced in 100 degree weather while on ephedra and died.

Drug Testing
I was taking an appetite suppressant called Stimerex which contained ephedrine. I stopped taking this supplement when the FDA ban was made on all ephedrine products. My question to the group would be I recently (5 days ago) took a drug screen test for my new job. Would this supplement be tested for in a standard pre-employment screening? I would think that there would have to be some sort of window from when the drug was banned from sale to when they could test for it's use, say a 30 day window to allow it to pass through the body. What are your thoughts.....?

He also was very badly dehydrated. I would have fired every one of the coaches and trainers on the field that day for allowing that to happen.

I thought they lifted the ban and I have never heard of UAs testing for ephedra or steroids. The UA sheets we get look for narcotics and alcohol.

Its the same as steriods in the sence of testing. only if they choose to and its very expensive to test for both. The overall answer is no.

Ephedrine 25mg HCL
Caffine: 200mg
Fish Oil: 1 cap 3 times daily
Green tea extract (50% egcg): 1-2 times daily
Whey protein: 2 scoops mid morning- post workout
Casien protein: 2 scoops morning time
ON multi- 1x morning
CLA- 2 times daily

ephedrine is used today in asthma medication as a bronchodiolator. Go to your nearest pharmacy and ask for bronkaid. its like 60 pills for $10. Do some more research and stay properly hydrated. Good luck.
