you can't see me
Slightly off centered 20 dollar bill
I have a 20 dollar bill that is slightly off center - do you think collectors would pay big bucks for it? I remember seeing a quarter that had an extra leaf on one of the husks of corn and it was selling for 500 bucks.
I wish I had a digital camera to take a pic so you could see it, but still, does anybody think it'd sell?

No Evo No Care
Usually mis-prints and odd struck coins and bills are destroyed when found by the mint prior to distribution so consider yourself lucky and keep it. Have a coin collector give you an appraisal on it if he can.

Its worth a collector premium, but if I remember correctly not a whole lot. I'd hate to guess and be wrong, but you're not going to be rich, but hold onto it until you can sell it. Your local coin store can make you an offer on an error bill. They'll probably be able to show you a reference or price list. Now 1 side $20, other side $10, that's rare.

Yes. If it's truly defective, keep it it should be worth something. The treasury take great effort to make sure their product is perfect. Because of this, anything that gets out that isn't perfect, will probably be valuable. The better the condition, the more you'll get--so seal it, and never touch it again

That's what I'm thinking too. I think I've had dozens of $20 bills that I noticed were off center.
"In The Dark Knight, Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker." - July 18, 2008

"This a priceless porcelain vase made in Venice in around the early 1600s. You can tell by the engravings that this belonged most likely to a family of relative wealth and power in Italy at the time, and this insignia right here most likely traces it back to the Fontene family. It seems to be in good condition and is very rare."
"So how much is it worth?"
"About $5."

Look closely. The label was on the paper before the plate came down. It had printing from the mint on top of it. Foreign garbage like a bannana label is extremely rare and mostly caught in the manual inspection stage of the 32 sheet pages. Slightly off center bills are pretty common and may be worth a few bucks premium. I'd be surprised if he got $75 for it, but depends how off center it is. This thread is useless without....
