    CytoGainer review

I decided to give this product a try as a pre workout and after workout shake, after looking at it's make up it would be best used this way.. The product is a little pricey, but if you factor in buying creatine and glutamine the product is not bad price wise.
Will be sharing the results that I see, I do expect rapid gain of weight, but this will mostly be water do to the creatine.
2 serving is all I will be using, this would give me 6g creatine and 4g Glutamine + the protien and carbs

Clean Bulking now "winter time, little extra fat to stay warm"

check the totals for your calories/protein/carbs/fat/fiber.........are those only for your cytogainer?? because 2 servings of cytogainer would put you @ 1200 cals & 168 carbs

    correction

Thank you very much for pointing that out, my excel sheet with my meals was missing calculations on a few meals and one shake.....I thought those numbers did not look right, because I have been completely stuffed since I started this new diet..
    Here are the right numbers.
    Cals 3080, Protein 257, carbs 350, fat 68.5, fiber 32

    flavor

cookies and cream, first time I have tried this flavor and even with water it is very good.
The muscle milk I take is Orange Creme, it is just plane awsome with milk.
I think this is one reason I decided to stick with Cytosport, their protien mixes taste really good and this is the keys to sticking with a protien shake.

    update

4 days of cytogainer and I have gained a total of 8 pounds of pure muscle..............wish it was that easy..

The creatine delivery system is pretty good, on my home maid cell tech it usually took more then four days before the water started to be retained by the muscle tissue. I have notice a fully pump when working out and the gass has gone away. I am currious after the tub is gon to see if I made any real gains in muscle wait.

    tub is almost empty

I do have about a five day supply left and I will go ahead and some up my review on this product

    Pros
Key thing I like about the product, it eliminates the need to purchase creatine and glutamine
mixes extremely easy even without a shaker
The product taste awsome for a protein shake "cookies and cream"
I have put on 10 pounds with the product "don't know what the muscle mass wieght increase is yet or if there is any"
    Strength and muscle volumn increased
I would consider it one of the best pre and post workout shakes that I have tried so far.

    Cons
    Gave me gas
the 3.3lb tub is worthless for the recomended dose, "it does not last"
Directions are nutts, this shake should only be used as a pre and post workout shake taken 2 a day, any more and you are taking in more creatine then needed for a day and pissing the rest away.

Will defenitly be using this product for the remander of my bulking cycle, it makes a nice completment to Muscle Milk which I use once a day before bed.

I would highly recommend this product for any one wanting to have an all in one preworkout and post workout shake.

no man, 3 and 1/2 weeks is how long the 3.3 pound jug lasted me, 4 scoops per shake, "recommended dosage", for 3 and 1/2 weeks, this does not last very long.

As far as the food goes, I eat six meals a day. plus one pre-work out shake and after workout shake and a night time shake along with the six meal.

dude You can only prepare some much food in short time and shakes are a nice substatute for cooking a **** load of food.

    how often do you workout?
looking at the information on the tubs, it says 18 servings per container, working out 3 days per week would equal to 6 shakes per week. 6x3=18
unless i'm missing something, that's only 3 weeks from the 6 pound tub too. i'm just curious. i'm about to start taking cytogainer. didn't want any surprises in how long it would last.

    a little advice

hey, I have been on cytogainer for about 6 months and it has done wonders. AS you know they recommend that you take two servings daily of four scoops however this is a ridiculous amount. What I and the GNC people recommend that you do is take two scoops of the cytogainer twice a day, immediately after you work out and right before you go to bed. Also if you want more calories and better taste mix it with milk. So you need 8 ounces of either water or milk and two scoops of the cytogainer twice per day.

I kinda think you did that the opposite way. You should of clean bulked first to the size you like, then start the cutting phase.

If your bulking you are taking in extra cals, so yes you will loose your cut, but it will not be from the cytogainer

    weight loss?

    I'm 18, about 6 foot, and weigh around 175. I'm also a hardgainer.

I started using this product and saw immediate results, but I was just wondering if all progress is lost once you STOP taking the supplement. ??

I've also heard that taking this supplement without a lot of cardio to back it up is dangerous to your health.

Any comments on either of these topics?
