I'm in my 2nd year of college. Besides weight lifting, I havn't really done anything really phyical since high school (wrestled). I'm still in good shape, but I know I'm not in the shape i once was. I lift on mondays and thursdays, and work every saturday and sunday, so I was thinking on running every tuesday, wednesday and friday. I was going to run around the neighborhood on wednesdays and fridays, and go to a track every tuesday. I want to try to decrease my mile time every week. Is staying with long distance running 3x a week the best way to get my wind up? I'm also getting ready to enter the police academy in less than a year.
