The recommended I've seen is 1.5g-2g/lb. Is it so that if the more the protein you eat, the harder it is to lose fat while cutting? And doesn't soem of it get stored as fat as well?

It's also good to fill up the missing cals in your diet (I'm assuming you're going to be cutting back on some fat and carbs as well)
