Working on my B-ball skills...
Well I've been playing more basketball lately, and I'm looking for some ways to improve my ball-handling skills, and team play. Anyone know any good sites that have drills, and other practicing methods for me to work on? I know that playing the game is the best way to learn, but I would like to work on my dribbling skills between games.

Man if you want handles just work on dribbling and doing moves. I assume your off hand isn't up to par. Just go out and work on it. Practice quickness, crossovers, and the whole lot. One good way to improve your handles is to keep your good hand behind your back. That way your good hand can't bail you out when your dribble is in trouble. It'll suck at first, but it'll come. Once you have that hand comfortable no one can stop you!

When I began playing after high school I could not dribble with my left hand AT ALL!.
What I began doing was dribbling a tennis ball while at work during the night shift.
I dribbled that tennis ball until my forearm crampped up. It helped that my night job was slow and boring because this drill is also quite boring.
Anyway, after a couple of months doing this drill I noticed I became MUCH better with my left hand.
To the point that now I can go to the basket with my left hand whenever I choose.
In pickup games I am overplayed to the left side because I go left more than I go right.
When the left side is taken away I can go right naturely. If I were you I would try this drill as well as what he ^ said.
You will still need to practice dribbling a regulation ball. Also another drill is to wear heavy work gloves which will eliminate your feel for the ball.
Dribble with the gloves on an hour a day, take the gloves off and you will see and feel a diffrence!
Dribble off your fingertips only, do not let the ball touch your palm ever! All your ball control comes from your fingertips.
Practice dribbling with all four fingers, one at a time, to strengthen them. DONT LOOK AT THE BALL! keep your head up at all times.
Even when you practice, dont look at the ball. I have started dribbling with my eyes closed, this is quite hard though.
Try it, stand up straight, close your eyes and dribble the ball at your side with your off hand, when your left gets tired crossover to your right and practice with that one as well.
Then, there's wall dribbles, find a wall, not in your house, mom wont like that at all. Hold the ball straight up in the air as far as you can reach and dribble it off the wall with your finger tips only.
Alternate hands when you tire. I am sure I am forgetting a few tips I picked up over the years.
Let me know when you move on to shooting!

That's some good info guys, I am decent with my off hand(left), but trying to improve it. I have been working on not looking at the ball as I dribble with both hands, and that has improved. I have a decent shot, and a pretty good jump-shot going right, but I need to practice going left. I'll try to stay away from my palm, and dribble with my fingertips more. I'de love to see some video of some good practice drills if anyone knows a good site!

Wicked dude guy, guy
Something else I found that helps is start doing more with your left hand in general; brushing your teeth, eating, picking things up, it will strengthen the arm and get it used to all kinds of motions you're unfamiliar with. When I played seriously in high school/college I ended up being able to write and throw pretty well with my left arm.
