    Muscle loss after taking creatine?

    It is my understanding that taking creatine increases hydration of your muscle cells. I am wondering if then after a cycle of creatine because of loosing amounts of it in your system you will loose the musckle mass gained while taking this supplement? If so would it be possible that by then supplementing glutamine would reduce muscle loss or jus by increasing protien intake you could maintain your gains??? Any legit answers and explinations would be appreciated!!!!!

    you lose the excess water held inside the muscle from the hydration, you are not losing actual muscle mass.
