best anti-perspirant/deoderant
I'm always searching for one that is ACTUALLY invisible if it happens to get on your clothes, plus one that is actually very effective. I find anti-perspirant similar to shampoo - after a while, my body gets used to a certain brand and I need to switch it up.
Anyone swear by one that works well and doesn't leave white marks on your clothes?

Mitchum. When they say, "So effective, you can even skip a day," they're really not kidding. That's some industrial strength stench-be-gone right there.
And I have NEVER had it show up on my clothes, even black ones.

I just bought a new 55 gallon drum of my old fave Mitchum- did they change it? Label seems the same, yet I can't quite "skip a day" like last time I had it, scent seems a little different also...

It's not an anti-perspirant at all, but I like using bauxite crystal. It's sold as PitRok and Crystal Spring. You rub it on wet skin and it prevents the growth of bacteria, so you can sweat, but don't smell. I find it very effective, even after cycling hard for an hour when I'm scraping salt crystals off my face, I still don't smell.
I often get an allergic reaction to ordinary deoderants.

A life secret that I actually read in a womens magazine (I'm a guy lol).
People don't believe, but I SWEAR it works....
Put on your anti-perspirant before you go to bed. Any amount that "washes" off in your morning shower wasn't doing anything for you any way.
The only thing I can say is...try it. It works.
In fact, it works so well that I only need to use it every other day or so.

I have had great results with Tom's of Maine. It's natural with no aluminum or chemicals. It also leaves no color on clothing. I get it from whole foods stores.

I usually "borrow" my husband's Mitchum gel, unscented. It claims it is "so effective you can even miss a day" -- although I've never tried No stains, no weird scent (even from my husband after we work out lol)

sorry to be sort of posting a sub-question, but i use a roll on mitchum and it actually shows up on my clothes a great deal. could this just be because it is a roll on? i'm a heavy sweater anyway and 'skip a day' for me means 'you will stop smelling for around ten minutes' stupid mitchum

Any real anti-perspirant that contains aluminium chloride (might also be called aluminium chlorylhydrate) will close off the sweat glands and keep you entirely dry and odour-free, so it doesn't need to be perfumed. My doctor recommended it to me. There have been scare stories about this ingredient, but it is perfectly safe if used as instructed. The sweating is then taken over by other parts of the body that have fewer sweat glands and don't get smelly.
Odorex extra dry liquid, which I recommended here, is not available in the US, but you should ask your qualified chemist if he has a product in the shop with this ingredient.

I would sweat really bad when I drink any drink with caffine. Dont know why? So I tried Maxim Antiperspirant for Hyperhidrosis and this stuff work GREAT. I got it at stopsweat . com. Its a little expensive but it works great for me. No more sweaty arm pits for me.

I use Pit Rock natural crystal deodorant. It's awesome. No chemicals and no smell. It's not a great anti-perspirant when you put it under gym conditions but trust me you will never ever ever smell. It leaves no marks at all on your clothes.
Only thing I will say is that it can be a bit of a hassle. It is actually a big chunk of mineral salt crysal and you use it like a roll on type deo on wet skin like when you're just out the shower. I was a bit skeptic when I first tried it but trust me on this.
Also they can be expensive like 5 pounds UK (it won't let me type the pound sign) but the last one I had lasted a full year and a bit so it's actually cheaper in the long run.
I definitly swear by it and am never ever going back to normal deodorants ever again.
Edit: I've just been informed that you can also get a spray of this stuff under the same brand. Can't say how good or bad that one is though but thought you may want to check it out.
