Yeah first off no flaming, i dont care if you agree with it or not im just wondering about this. Anyway i have a bisexual friend who is planning on taking a same-sex out of school date to homecoming. The school, however, does not allow same-sex dates. Is that a form of discrimination and could he potentionally sue the school. I do not think it is right to prevent people from going to a dance if they take a same-sex date. Anyway im pretty sure his rights protect him from them preventing him to go. No one has ever challeneged the school's rule. Anyway if he was to challenge it citing discrimination-(school's get scared when you say that word lol) would he win?

What kind of shcool do you go to? If you go to a public school it's discrimination, if it's a private school they can do whatever they want.
This having been said, your friend is a dip**** if he considers going to court over something so stupid. These are the kinds of people I want to kick in the face for wasting my tax money over something so pointless and trivial. Clearly hes in this more for the controversy than he is to actually bring a guy to the dance. If someone told me there was a girl I couldn't bring to a dance, I wouldn't bring her, I wouldn't go to court over it. He should do the same thing, just shut up and take his medicine.Blue jays/Spartans/Colts

Maybe he should just suck it up, and realize that that treatment is probably just a small portion of what he'll taste in the rest of his life, unfortunately.

I agree with the school, homos shouldn't be allowed to bring each other to grads/dances or anything else.

If you can't go there and hang at 2am, it's not public.
schools aren't public places. they are 'owned by the public', as are all government offices - incl. the pentagon. i

i know i dont "approve" of gays ...but bi-sexual men are just stupid.
it's allright in girls but me who are bi-sexual dont deserve to be treated as regular citizens...either be gay or staright
