Hi all, I know if you're going to eat simple carbs like white bread, rice, or pasta, the best time for that is after you workout to replenish your glycogen stores, I think.
However since those carbs are easily broken down, would it also be OK to have white rice/bread/pasta before you work out?
THanks in advance.

Personally, I don't think the carb source matters pre or post workout, within reason. Just time your pre-workout meal based upon the approximate digestion rates of the carb/protein source you're using. ie. a longer period between meal and workout for more complex meals.
Generally in a decent diet though I would avoid white bread pasta etc for 'healthier' alternativesBLAP BLAP BLAPB APBLAP PLAB BAPB BP@P BLAPL APBLL LBAP
