Do you go to a GYM or HOME GYM?
I was wondering, because I got a cardio bike, bench, dumbells, weights, and barbell. I got all the stuff I basicly need, but I reckon that a public gym would be more motivated, and there's also more exercise machines. (Squat rack, Leg presses) etc. What do you guys reckon I should do? Oh yea, and do you go to a public gym or do you have a home gym?
Thanks in Advance
Will

I personally go to a gym, the equipment is superior, the atmosphere is motivating, and theres less room to slack off.

I see, I see, but(the people who have a home gym) don't you guys do squats ? Because it's kinda risky to do squats without a proper squat rack..you know? Oh yea roger999, lol I am also gonna buy myself a boxing bag ha ha just to mess around or when I cut down I'll train on it.

I go to a gym...but I plan on eventually building almost everything that I would need to have my own home gym if I can get ahold of the steel that I need which I should be able to do. Things I would buy though are dumbbells and barbells and weights.
I've already got a workout bench about half done: (that kind of bench but a different design)
http://www.fitnessscape.com/Merchant...00002/mifb.jpg
the next project after that is going to be a squat rack: (maybe something like this)
http://www.ironcompany.com/ProductIm...Rack-large.jpg
after that a dip machine with a pullup bar on top:

And then I don't know what will come next yet.
I can do this cuz a family friend of ours has a mig welder that I can use or I can go out and buy one, and as long as I stay on good grounds with my metal work teacher then I could go in and use the machines I need after I graduate this year

usually anywhere from $3,500-$4,500, depending on what you get (base or ultimate) and where you get it.

I only have some weights at home. EZ-bar and some plates. I use them for fun. But I usually go to gym for a more serious workout.

Oh wow do i love my power rack, i have failed many many times, not expecting to, and my power rack was always there to save the day, and if i want to attempt a rep that might not be possible, then the rack will allow me to do so. No spotters
