How much Beta-Alanine is needed for noticable effects?
Can't find any BA in caps besides this one:

I belive the NAC dosage is a similar constraint in Australia, but so far we've had no issues bringing it in.
The effective dose for beta-alanine is 3.2 to 6.4 grams per day. IntraXCell has 4grams per dose.
As the blend is proprietary I can't comment on specific dose. However I can say this. Looking at the label, ingredients are listed as
2XCell Blend: 4,202mg
(Beta-Alanine (4g), N-Acetyl L-Cysteine, Alpha-Lipoic Acid).
Given that beta-alanine takes up 4grams of that, I think you would have a solid argument with Icelandic customs that the NAC wouldn't really be anymore than 100mg.
Have you had issues with importation of products with NAC in the past?

800x3 would be cutting it low. Also, beta-alanine is virtually tasteless and mixes easily - no need for capsules IMO. Shoot for 4-6g beta-alanine.
I would go with bulk supplies for beta-alanine. That's how I'm doing it now, at ~4g of b-a daily. So far, I prefer buying beta-alanine in bulk as opposed to buying it in a product.I remember being relevant.

Take 3 caps 3x a day or 2 caps 3x a day.
If you follow the directions and take 3 caps 3x a day. You should be fine and you'll be getting a total of 7200 mg or you could try 2 caps 3x a day for 4800 mg. If you bought them please tell us your results. I never heard of 8-Ball Nutrition before now, curious on their quality. Thanks!

Muscle Blast
Take muscle blast from SNI (Nutrition Global LLC). It is carried by a few sellers including vitamin shoppe (where, incidentally, i work). It is an expensive habit, but works great, especially in conjunction with creatine or carosine, from my understanding. The dosage on the bottle is high though. All you need is two caps twice daily to get 3g beta alanine, 600mg l-histadine and some C, B6, and Bioprene for absorbtion and facilitation. I'm going to up my dose to 6 caps a day, but i'm seeing results with 4...the label, however says 8. Good luck.

Beta Alanine and l-Histadine
On the topic of Carnosine synthesis. I'm not sure the body actually manufactures carnosine out of these aminos to much of an extent. Recently i've done some second-hand research and I think taking them blocks the breakdown of Carnosine more or less, although they do have other functions as well. That is why Carnosine supplementation would have a synergystic effect.
