    Read something interesting

In one of these threads I read someones take on bulking/cutting phases.

It was something along the lines of, "I hate the tern bulking and cutting, just eat alot, and train like tommorow is your last day"

Anyone see a problem with this? I mean football players don't go through strict cycles do they? I was just thinking what if I did alot of cardio, Rippetoe's three days a week and ate comfortably, but alot. Would I increase muscle strength and size, while getting leaner and leaner each month?

I know it may not be the fastest route, but is it a good route for someone who can't justify packing on a belly every off season, and then cutting to the point they are miserable to see there work?

I bring this all up, cause I am 6 foot, 165 lbs. I am not ripped, not big. I want both, but dont want to do the extremes. I would like to get and keep a 6 pack year round while adding muscle over the long term.

Let me know your thoughts. thanks.

The point of bulking is not to gain a gut believe it or not... you were looking for couchpotato.com

At 6ft 165lbs you desperately need a bulk...

Give it shot... make sure your eating enough to gain weight though... at least 1lb every week or two for awhile. Youll see very little fat gain if any like this.
