In one of these threads I read someones take on bulking/cutting phases.
It was something along the lines of, "I hate the tern bulking and cutting, just eat alot, and train like tommorow is your last day"
Anyone see a problem with this? I mean football players don't go through strict cycles do they? I was just thinking what if I did alot of cardio, Rippetoe's three days a week and ate comfortably, but alot. Would I increase muscle strength and size, while getting leaner and leaner each month?
I know it may not be the fastest route, but is it a good route for someone who can't justify packing on a belly every off season, and then cutting to the point they are miserable to see there work?
I bring this all up, cause I am 6 foot, 165 lbs. I am not ripped, not big. I want both, but dont want to do the extremes. I would like to get and keep a 6 pack year round while adding muscle over the long term.
Let me know your thoughts. thanks.
