Best Way to Lift to Add Stength and Size

I went from no definition to a decent frame using only 35lb dumbells at home for 3 months. Ive since started hitting the Gym and cant figure out the difference between High reps-vs-heavy weight. Im 6'2 and now weigh 239 lbs. Down from a super slopy 315 in may. I want stregnth gains now. Any sugestions?

You should look into Bill Star's 5x5. Very good program that lots of people have had good results in for size & strength.

for muscular strength, you should be lifting 80-90% of your 1RM, 2-6 sets, with 2-4 minutes of rest between sets.
