My client Art (or 40_Yard Dash) as you know has parted ways from DS. Art is now able to pursue a new deal with another team. What we want is a strong offer from companies who wish to be in business with Art. These are our terms.

• Long Term Deal - This is not a "rent a rep" for a month or two type deal. We want a long term deal with performance incentives.
• No-Trade clause - Unless willing to waive, Art will not be involved in any trades with another company. Art will specify a set list of teams he is willing to be traded to if said action ever occurs.
• Adaquete Compensation - We all know what a superstar Art is in the rep industry. He shall be signed to a deal that fits a rep of his stature. There will be no nickel and diming here.

Thanks Josh. I'm just looking for a team that can utilize my skill set to the fullest. I've got over 7 months of tape, so people know what I can do out on the boards. I don't have to prove anything to the "owner." I've got a list of 3 companies I am willing to sign with. I'm looking for security. A long-term deal as Josh eluded to. I however do not want a deal that is back-loaded. I want guarantees in the first 3 years of the deal to go along with a PHAT signing bonus. Escalators in years 3-5 with additional incentives if my performance Xceeds the original deal and I max out the contract.

Des and 40 are two I would lobby Gaspari for but no way it's going to be a 3 year deal. I think a probationary period of 90 days to make sure both sides are happy with one another is in order as well as maybe an 18 month deal with an option on another 18 months. I'll post this in the main forum too.
