Weightloss, more than just the fat
This is going to be a strange question since this forum is primarily for bodybuilding. I am leaning towards enlisting in the military and last year when I was working to lose weight my body fat test came in at a lean mass of 172 lbs. For my height of 5' 8" I have to weigh ~185 lbs to go to boot camp. I have since gained more fat and I have that to lose, but unless I lose some muscle that only gives me about 13 lbs of fat (7%) to work with, which is unrealistic for me. I was told that the USMC requires height/weight to go to boot unlike the Army/Navy that will take bodyfat % so I will have to cut muscle even though I don't want to.
Can anyone give me some tips on how I can cut muscle? Losing the fat is less of a worry to me, I know how to do that.
From the things I have read it looks like I may have an increased estrogen levels. Has anyone had a good experience using an estrogen blocker to cut fat?
Thanks for the help
