figure competitions

Hi I'm new to this whole thing but I am EXTREMELY interested in competing in figure not very soon but not years away either. I've been doing TONS of research online and am very interested in just going to a show to see how things are done. Does anyone know of any shows close to Columbus, Ohio? I know there is one September 2 but don't know anything else about it????


P.S. any advice, tips, more information, ANYTHING would help!

Oh my gosh, girl! You live in the city where the best trainer in the world trains!! OK, he is my trainer so obviously I think that but he trains the top fitness and figure athletes in the world. Mike Davies trains at the World Gym in Worthington, OH...check out his site online. www.mikedaviesfitness.com

He does training, diets, posing, everything you could possibly need.

And if you are looking for shows in the Columbus area...the NPC Ohio State Championships are Labor Day weekend! Try to go and watch it if you can...it will be a well run show and you should see tons of top level girls. Mike trains alot of the top national competitors and since he promotes this show, a lot of his athletes will be there

Thanks for the info! I've read alot about Mike Davies already! I'm checking out his site now! I'm going to try my hardest to go to the Ohio State Championships!
