I have been eating Kraft Fat Free Cheddar Singles, the type that come individually wrapped, anyway, i was wondering if these contain fake fats, and if they do, what are some of the negatives of fake fats?

Fat free products don't contain fake fats really, but you will often see the addition of maltodextrin as a filler. Malto is a great tool for bb'rs trying to bulk up -- not a good diet food though. These are carbs with a moderate insulin effect. Generally, I avoid fat free or reduced fat products. Fats are not your enemy when dieting. In fact, they really help maintain your hormonal balance and joint health. You just need to account for the added calories from fat -- and try to avoid excessive amounts of the saturated stuff. If you're a cheese lover, try to look for part-skim mozzerella and swiss. These are pretty flavorful cheeses with lower sat-fat and general fat contents.

your right! i checked the kraft food website and it took me a like half-a-f***ing-hour to finally find some nutrition facts, and it does have malto. personally i only want malto in my post workout shake so now im super pissed, like super pissed, it also has dried corn syrup (wtf?)
one slice has 3g of carbs 1 of them from sugar so i figure even if i had a few slices its not going to really hurt my progress, right?
but im still pissed and therefore throwing these fat free singles out.
