    how accurate are keto strips?

    i bought some from walgreens the other day and i tested positive last nite, and then today i wasnt positive, i was wondering how accurate are keto strips? if you are in the "purple" does that gurantee you are in ketosis?

    Any colour change at all and you are in ketosis. In fact, pink is better than purple, which usually means you are dehydrated.

    When you start, they are very accurate, but as your body adjusts to keto, it stops wasting ketones by pissing them away, and uses them to fuel your workouts. So you'll be less likely to get any sort of dark results, and may not show any traces at all on the strips.

    Get used to how you feel in ketosis, so that you can tell without them. You'll probably not get any value out of more than one drum of ketostix.

    don't you usually have a weird taste in your mouth when you're in keto?

    That's a common sign, so is a sort of fruity smelling breath, or more pungent smelling urine. Some people find they feel hotter. Some find it harder to concentrate, but others find it easier.

    My own personal signs are that I have steady energy all day. I might actually do some housework. I have more patience with the children, and feel more alert. I am less likely to read a novel and more likely to do a crossword or puzzle. I find it harder to do very high intensity exercise, but can keep going at a moderate pace all day without tiring.

    i really have had no problems on keto, no bad breath, my urine smells a lil bad... and i have had a mild headache, but the headache can be attributed to too much sleep? i think the main thing i have noticed is that i am always hunger on keto or maybe the correct word is never statisfied? I believe it has to do with the lack of carbs, and maybe its not hunger but carb cravings?

    If you are in ketosis, and constantly hungry (not just peckish when the ads for pizza come on tv) then you need to either eat more veg to provide bulk, or look at increasing your overall calories.

    i think veg is my problem, i should be eating more then to provide some filling, its kind of werid, because something i ate before like a big steak use to fill me up but now it doesnt, i think its a transistion period, certain foods do fill me up but meat and eggs usually does not for some reason, i think im going to keep playing with it til i find what fills me up
