Hi, I'm 14 year old, ( my birthday was 2 weeks ago) and I just was courius about something. I play Football and I'm an animal on the feild, but I'm put at one disadvantige on the feild. I'm taller then everyone else on my team, ( I'm 6"1", 180lbs, no one's that tall, it's only 8th grade Football,lol) and it doesn't help with my leverage on the offensive line.
I know it's not a big deal this year, but I'm still growing and I don't want to end up with a completely off sinque body. ( my legs are out of perportion with my upper body. There much longer, but odly enough, weaker)
So, if anyone could advise me what to do to help me out on the feild, it would be aprecaited.
AND PLEASE DONT simpley say squat more. I get that and have balanced out my body more, but I still feel kinda uneven.
Oh, and is this okay for maxes at my age. Just started lifting in may because they lett us in the high school gym for football
Bench=130 for 10 reps, 3 sets
Squat=150 for 8 reps, 4 sets
awsome program, do it for as long as you can. DO NOT DO THE ADVANCED VERSION, YOUR GAINS WILL BE SLOWER THAN DOING THE INTERMEDIATE!
Once ur totalling 300+ in all bench squat and deadlift u can think about doing the advanced version. This program will build u a good foundation. Follow it to the T, dont mess with anything, download the excel template do this porogram it will get u strong and big fast.
You play on the offensive line? That's not a really smart decision for a coach if you're that taller than everyone else. I'd put you in quarterback if you could throw, but since you play on the offensive line, I would try you out on a tight end because TE's block and sometimes catch.

Ya, i know. Put I'm fast enough to were I play pulling guard and just get to nail the sh!t out of people. And no, I can't throw well, and we already got a insanly good TE, so it isn't really an option. But hey, Defensive end is my main postion.
