DawnMarie's Millennium Sport Shred-XS Log
About this Log
This log will to record my experience over the next 30 days while trying out Millennium Sport Shred-XS. I will include daily updates with information on dosage, any sides, and other pertinent info. I will also be commenting on the following:
• Starting and ending body weight
• Starting and ending body fat percentages
• Energy Levels: Do you have more energy? What type of energy? Like ephedra? Like caffeine? Smooth, even energy? Different from most other products?
• Appetite Suppression: is your appetite suppressed?
• Thermogenic Effect: Do you feel warm or hot?
• Crashing: Do you crash off of Shred-XS? Do you hit the wall after it wears off?
• Sense of well being?
• Effect comparison: Compare to other fat burners.
• Side Effects: Are you experiencing any side effects?
• Total weight loss: How much weight have you lost?
• Total bodyfat percentage lost: change in bodyfat % from baseline.
• Elaborate: How do you feel about the product so far?
About the Product
Millennium Sport Shred-XS - http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ms/shred.html
Thanks to MS for providing the product for this log.
About my Diet & Training
I will be on a modified version of a customized diet plan for these 30 days. Aiming for about 1600-1700 cals, 40-50% Protien, 20-30% Carbs and 20-30% Fat with occasional higher carb days. I will post macros if time allows.
I am currently restricted in activity due to recent surgery. For the first two weeks I am limited to walking on a flat surface, no treadmill no lifting. After that may increase but likely to stay the same for the remainder of the log. Unless otherwise noted, no training was performed.
About Me
Female
Age:31
Height: 5’ 4” (and a half!)
On Nov 4, 2004 I was 282.5 lbs due to a sedentary lifestyle over 10 yrs. When my 30th birthday approached, I started a journey to lose the weight and do whatever it takes to get healthy and transform my body. After losing 100 lbs between late 2004 and 2005, I started weight training. This brought me out of my weight-loss plateau, changed my shape and most importantly, have given me renewed enthusiasm, determination and motivation to reach my goals.
My current goal is to maintain my weight/BF or reduce if possible while I recover from surgery and am unable to workout.
Other Current Supplements

Hi Dawn, glad to see you starting a new log. Good luck with this. I hear from FnF the Doc says to take it easy still. Better listen to him/her, don't want to mess up anything internally. Just stopped in to say hi

Day 3 8/17/06
Weight/BF:
158.6 (Down 0.7 from start)
Starting BF:
20.5%
This was tricky, had trouble getting consistent reading on calipers, but this one came up a couple times so going with it. Yes, I know this is high but those of you following my last log know I lost almost 10% BF during my last log so I am happy with it!
Spaceclown - Low = Lower Body which is the last reading you take. I looked it up because it said it on mine too, and I KNOW I am not low on BF!!
Starting Measurements:
Bust: 37.5
Chest: 33.5
Upper Arm: 11
Waist: 29.5
Hips: 37.5
Hips & Buttocks: 41
Upper Thigh: 22
Lower Thigh: 17.25
Calf: 15.5
Dosage:
1 cap x 2, AM & PM
Sides:
Slightly warm, energy up somewhat but very smooth and gradual, felt good all day, appetite may have been slightly surpressed or it may have been that I was busy.
Diet/Water Intake:
1769 Cals
P/C/F: 40/39/21
H2O: 2 glasses Busy and neglected my water, very bad. I'll try filling the gallon jug and set it on my desk, that seemed to work better.
Other:
NEW TOYS - Hubby decided he's not ready for the gym yet so instead we got some new workout equipment for at home. DM now has an olympic weight set and a home gym with a smith machine! It is not top of the line but it will work for us and make it a whole lot easier for me to get my workouts in once I can lift again since I can do just about every exercise I need at home now. I can't wait to use it!! Now, if only I knew where I will put this monstrosity in my house! I know that is silly but I do not plan on working out in the hot garage! I will make room
VS - I am still taking it easy as possible considering I have 2 kids, a Hubby and a job
FNF, Cervasa, SC - So the troublemakers are stirring things up already I see...and why am I not surprised who the ringleader is? *looks at FNF* LOL
Seroph - Glad you are enjoying the log and spreading the love

Day 4 8/18/06
Weight/BF:
158.2 (- 1 from start)
Dosage:
1 cap x 2, AM & PM
Sides:
Took 1st dose later than usual so second dose was alot closer to first. Definitely felt more energy and overall good feeling and warmer than usual. No crash but felt really tired late in the afternoon. Being that I am still healing from surgery I think the 6 hrs or so sleep I usually get is not enough so can't say it is a side.
Diet/Water Intake:
1635 Cals
P/C/F: 45/34/21
H2O: 1 gal
Other:
Found the final addition to the home gym, some used dumbbells on a rack in 5lb increments from 5 - 40 lbs, hope to get them tommorrow night. I can't wait until I can use all this equipment it is going to drive me crazy to sit and look at it every day and not be able to!! But when I can it will be so nice The DB set I have now have horrible screw on/off plates I have to change out and it really slows me down.
TGIF and have a great weekend all!
Hi arose - enjoy being a newlywed!

Hi Dawn!
I'm subscribing to your new log I saw your new pics and all I can say is WOW! You look fantastic! Your waist looks teeny, tiny!
My hubby and I are shopping for a smith machine too! I've been looking at a newer version called the Jone's machine. You can google it to see what it is. We haven't purchased it yet- still thinking about it. Hey, check out ebay too. I've purchased a few second hand commercial pieces for a fraction of the original costs. You have to check often, you can find some amazing deals.
I love my home gym! With my husband's busy and unpredictable work schedule, it's more convenient than going to a gym.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing your progress after all your healing

Hi DawnMarie...! Awesome -- a new log, new supps to provide feedback on, and the usual gang of suspects to make it all that much more interesting... lol.
By the way, congrats! (I'm jealous... I've been looking for some time for something like this

If you have trouble finding a place for this, I have the PERFECT spot in my home gym... you and the whole family can come over to use your equipment anytime

Thanks Boxermom and thanks for visiting my log
That Jones machine is out of m price range but definitely an interesting concept. Here's a link for others wanting to know what it is: http://bodycraft.com/jones.tpl
I am excited about the home gym, I think it will be very convenient and make it easier. With 2 young kids scheduling is difficult sometimes.
